This intimacy produces:
- Resilience
- Power
- Confidence
- Trust
- Obedience

When facing adversity, those who know God are filled with strength and unwavering faith because they know that God is with them.
3. Taking Action
To do exploits means to accomplish great things for God.
It means:
- Stepping out in faith.
- Overcoming challenges.
- Demonstrating God’s power through your life.
- Producing visible results through obedience and trust in God.
Having a deep relationship with God empowers a person to rise above limitations and achieve extraordinary things.
The knowledge of God must be experiential.
It is the kind of knowledge that:
- Speaks peace in the middle of a storm.
- Gives hope in times of loss.
- Provides strength when weakness sets in.
The deeper your relationship with God, the stronger your faith and the more unshakable your confidence becomes.

Lessons from David

God looks at the heart.
David developed his relationship with God while serving faithfully as a shepherd.

David was a shepherd who cared for his father’s sheep.
During this season, God was preparing him for greater battles.

1 Samuel 17:37
“The Lord who rescued me from the claws of the lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine.”

David declared:
“You come to me with sword and spear, but I come to you in the name of the Lord Almighty.”
Exodus 14:14

David understood that victory comes from God.
In verse 46 he boldly proclaimed:
“Today the Lord will conquer you.”
5. David Fought Spiritual Battles God’s Way
Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil.
David stood strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
As believers, we must put on the full armor of God.
The Full Armor of God
- Belt of Truth
- Breastplate of Righteousness
- Shoes of the Gospel of Peace
- Shield of Faith
- Helmet of Salvation
- Sword of the Spirit (The Word of God)
Above all:
- Pray in the Spirit at all times.

- Be persistent in prayer.
- Pray for all believers everywhere.
Even King Saul blessed David saying:
“May the Lord be with you.”
