Introduction
The call to “come out” is a call to separation from anything that compromises our identity in Christ. It is a call to holiness, purity, and devotion to God.
Why Should We Come Out and Be Separated?
a) Because we have been bought at a price
- The blood of Jesus Christ is the price paid for our salvation
👉 We do not belong to ourselves anymore; we belong to God
Purpose of the Blood of Jesus Christ
1. To cleanse us from all sin
- (1 John 1:7)
- The blood purifies and washes away all unrighteousness
2. It gives us the right to stand before God
- Through the blood, we have access to God’s presence with confidence
3. It silences every accusation
- It removes guilt, shame, and condemnation
- It shuts down every voice of accusation from the enemy
4. It gives us a testimony of victory, not victimhood
- We are no longer defined by sin or failure
- We are defined by Christ’s victory
5. It enables us to stand before God without fear
- We approach God with confidence, not fear or shame
Benefits of the Blood of Jesus
1. Redemption
- (Ephesians 1:7)
- We are bought back and restored to God
2. Forgiveness of sin
- (Luke 22:20)
- Our sins are forgiven through the covenant of His blood
Conclusion
The call to “come out” is a call to live differently because of what Christ has done for us. The blood of Jesus separates us, cleanses us, and gives us a new identity.
👉 Therefore, we are called to live as people who are redeemed, forgiven, and set apart for God’s glory.
