Introduction

Divine rest is found in God. It is a place of peace, assurance, and confidence that comes from trusting Him fully. However, to experience this rest, we must intentionally seek God.

Reasons to Seek God

1. Because God Can Be Found

• God is not distant or unreachable.
• He makes Himself available to those who sincerely seek Him.

2. So That God Can Be Known

• Seeking God helps us build a personal relationship with Him.
• It allows us to understand His character, His will, and His ways.

3. Because God Hears Prayers

God listens to those who call upon Him, but there are conditions for effective prayer:

a) Humility

(Psalm 34:18)

• We must approach God with a humble heart.

b) Wholehearted Seeking

(2 Chronicles 15:2)

• We must seek God with all our hearts, not partially.

c) True Repentance

(1 John 1:9)

• We must turn away from sin and come to God sincerely.

4. Because God Answers Those Who Seek Him

• God responds to those who diligently seek Him.
• He reveals Himself, guides, and provides for them.
